My name is Erin, and I am looking to add some new pups to my pack. I have been a dog walker for 15 years and I have loved every minute of it.
A little about me:
Before dog walking became my main job I was in the oilfield as a machinist. I sustained an injury that left me out of work, and looking for something new. I had 3 dogs at that time
My name is Erin, and I am looking to add some new pups to my pack. I have been a dog walker for 15 years and I have loved every minute of it.
A little about me:
Before dog walking became my main job I was in the oilfield as a machinist. I sustained an injury that left me out of work, and looking for something new. I had 3 dogs at that time and I thought to myself, "I could add a couple dogs to my walk." So I did, and like they say, the rest is history. But it didn't stop there.
I absolutely loved being around dogs, and found I could read them very well, so I looked into dog training. I found a great one on one trainer in Uclulet, B.C., The International College of Canine Behavioral Science, where they specialize in Positive Reinforcement Training. So off I went, for 2 months, I trained to be a Professional Dog Trainer. I enjoyed it so much, and loved putting it into action when I got back home to Edmonton, that I looked into another program.
About a year after my training I enrolled in a year long course on animal behavior at Companion Animal Sciences Institute. I specialized in K-9 behavior. This course was so informative, it took my training to a whole new level. I trained for a few years, then I had to cut it back to just my dog walks and pee breaks. The walks and pee breaks are truly what I love anyway, I get to have fun with the pups and be out in nature.
Which brings us to 2024. As time goes by, pups get older and pass on, or owners move away, so im looking to grow my group again. I try to be as accommodating as possible with my services. So, if it's not a walk or pee break you're looking for, just ask!
Another positive about EVODOG, it will always be me visiting or walking your dog. I work alone and do not substitute anybody in my place. With dogs, you need to build a bond and that can't be done if the walker is changing.
I do not take dogs for a single walk only. EVODOG is for daily, weekly or monthly walks. And a meet and greet will happen before any services are provided, a chance for everybody to get to know each other.
I currently offer services in Edmonton and surrounding areas, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Morinville, and Spruce Grove.
I look forward to meeting many more dogs, maybe even yours! My days of dog walking aren't over yet.
Stay safe out there!
